As part of Heathrow’s support for the Duke of Edinburgh award charity, BeekeeperTom was asked to provide honey to several very important guests including HRH The Earl of Wessex.

Three jars of honey produced from three area of Heathrow, each jar had it’s own distinct look and flavour, this being derived from what the bees foraged upon in those areas.

Special labels were printed to celebrate the occasion, alongside a small card which holding a brief written overview of the bio-diversity areas and honey.

For ease of carriage, Tom also made a wooden carrier from beehive frames, rather fitting, given the contents being carried.

Tom also commented ‘the day really went off without a hitch, it was gratifying to have contributed something at short notice, that was so well received’
