Saturday 17th February 2018

“Sustainable Beekeeping.  A Future Without Imports”,  at the Eden Project, Cornwall

Organised in conjunction with BipCo & B4, the morning will have talks by Norman Carreck and Mark Barnett, covering research relevant to the improvement of honey bees in a sustainable manner.

In the afternoon there will be talks on the principles of bee improvement by Jo Widdicombe and some ideas on how sustainability may be achieved from Roger Patterson.

On Sunday, 18th February, we plan to organize a number of events including visits to apiaries to discuss practical management and a Bee Improvement for All day for those interested.

Friday 7th to Sunday 9th September 2018

BIBBA Conference in Cirencester, Gloucestershire

The 2016 conference on the Isle of Man provided 29 presentations over three days.  Once again we aim to provide a wide selection of topics presented by expert speakers.
